The 2008 Hummer H2 retained its iconic bricklike design and hard foundation but had a mixture of improvements that overcame earlier shortcomings. The congested interior was replaced with spacious interiors with better finish and fit. Front seated members were observed to be upgraded with modified instrument panel having smooth surfaces and equipped with new GM sound components. The seating arrangement was also very good with contented front seats, standard side curtain airbags, and two-passenger third-row seat.

Performance

Coming to its performance, a powerful 6.2-liter V8 engine boosted the 2008 hummer h2 via a 6-speed automatic transmission along with manual shift control. In comparison with earlier version’s V8 engine and fuel economy, the H2 engine has pushed 68 more hp and high fuel economy.

The ability of towing also upgraded to 8,000 pounds and now for the first time it had stability control. Externally, the recognizable and expressive form had been slightly updated with bigger grille hole openings and lower bumpers were coated with silver color.

The 2008 Hummer H2 came in 3 trim levels: H2 luxury, H2 Adventure, and standard H2. Among these trim levels, the H2 luxury was top-lined version. The standard H2 loaded with auxiliary rear climate controls, OnStar, a trip computer, heated front and back seats, power front seats along with driver memory, leather seating, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
